We Are One

This poster was a response to a deadly shooting in the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida. The moment, the deadliest attack on U.S. soil against the LGTBQ population to-date left the community inside Facebook shocked, angry, and adrift. The objective here was simple: to present a simple message of empathy, togetherness, and care.

The message needed to land as personal and heartfelt, so the design was built on a modified version of Argentinian type designer Alé Paul’s Blog Script typeface and a classic screenprinting technique — the rainbow roll which acted as the direct throughline to the community.
